Students going overseas to study from India should take the forex under the Higher Studies Quota as approved by RBI. All banks (Plus Thomas Cook) can issue forex under the quota. The other moneychangers usually issue forex under the basic travel quota.
Cambridge Educational Services has tie up with the following financial institution. The process is easy and if they require any documents, they will co-ordinate with
Cambridge Educational Services. They should be able to issue forex in any currency. Please do note that if you have taken an education loan, then you should preferably use the same bank for the forex requirements unless that bank does not deal in the said currency.
