IELTS GUIDANCE AND
PREPARATION

Building your communication skills in English is the key to success in your IELTS test. If you think that IELTS is an eligibility test, you are not wrong. Passing the IELTS test is essential if you aim to:

  • Study in USA
  • Study in Europe
  • Study in Canada
  • Study in Australia
  • Study in New Zealand
  • Study in UK, and more!

However, IELTS is not only associated with the fact that whether you can write English well or not. But having a good command of speaking the English language is also equally important. If you want to succeed in the test, both writing and speaking English are important and in practice both go hand in hand.

If you want to pass the test, you just need to learn the strategic skills that make taking the test easier and therefore provide better results. We do apply the strategic skills and expertise during our preparation sessions for students to achieve their desired score in IELTS.

WHAT IS IELTS

and other countries.

IELTS is recognised by universities and employers in many countries, including Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the UK and the USA. It is also recognised by professional bodies, immigration authorities and other government agencies.
More than 1.4 million people a year take the test.

You can choose between the Academic or General Training versions of the test. All candidates do the same Listening and Speaking sections.

Speaking – interview, 12 minutes
Reading – different for Academic or General Training – 3 sections, 40 questions, 60 minutes
Writing – different for Academic or General Training – 2 pieces of writing, 60 minutes

Multi-level. You get a score between 1 and 9. Half scores such as 6.5 are possible.
Universities often demand an IELTS score of 6 or 7. They may also demand a
minimum score in each of the 4 sections. Please click here to see an explanation of IELTS Band Scores. You can use the IELTS Band Score Calculator on this site to convert your reading and listening raw scores.

WHAT is toefl

The TOEFL test is the most widely respected English-language test in the world, recognized by more than 9,000 colleges, universities and agencies in more than 130 countries, including
Australia, Canada, the U.K. and the United States. Wherever you want to study, the TOEFL
test can help you get there.

You can take the TOEFL test at your choice of conveniently located, ETS-approved test sites
around the world. You also save time and money since the entire test is given in one day, rather than coming back a second day like some other tests.

The TOEFL test helps prove you have the English skills you will use in an academic
classroom. In the test, you may read a passage from a textbook and listen to a lecture and then speak or write in response, just like you would in a classroom. Because the test is
composed of 100% academic questions and tasks, many universities consider it the most
appropriate test to use when making admissions decisions.
